DV 2014 Apply.
DV 2014 Electronic application form which will be available only through the internet must be used to apply for the next DV 2014 US visa lottery program, which is the official program for to issue 50,000 immigrant visas under the Diversity visa lottery program for the fiscal year 2014. This program is operated and administered by the State Department of the American Government to issue 50,000 U.S immigrant visas to people from the countries which have low immigration rate to the U.S.A. The diversity visa program is officially endorsed by the American congress and it is managed by the KCC. The application form can be obtained only from the internet in the form of E-DV application.
Once downloaded it must be filled then and there within the given 60 minute's time and should be submitted back with the required photo files.
The program is also called as Green card lottery in many countries as the winners after processing and proofing their eligibility are entitled to American LPR status where they will be issued with the green card. Those who want to participate in this visa lottery must meet the following minimum requirements.
- The applicant must be born in a country which must be in the US eligible country list, to participate according to the State Department. (There are two other ways for to claim eligibility, read the DV 2014 diversity visa lottery instructions.)
- The applicant must have successfully passed the high school certificate after completing 12 years of junior and high school education or must have 2 years of work experience within the last 5 years after studying/training a 2 year course for that job and it should be acceptable by the DOL too.
- It is clearly mentioned in the DV Lottery instruction that if you don't meet these eligibility requirements don't apply for this dv lottery program.
Also each person must submit their digital photo file through the internet along with their entry form. - Read the digital photo instruction www.dv2009photo.com on how to prepare your digital image file to submit with your entry form online.
- A person with spouse and eligible children must include their details and individual photo files in his/her dv application form. Failure to do so will disqualify them from the program at any time if they were found out.
- A person can submit only one entry as primary applicant. If applied more than one entry as primary applicant all the entries will be disqualified with out notice to the applicant.
- If both of them are eligible, an eligible husband and an eligible wife can submit one entry each as primary applicants, thus a family can submit two entries as one in the husband name including the wife and eligible children and other one on wife's name including the husband and all the eligible children.
- In this Green card lottery program it is compulsory for the applicant to provide an email address of himself/herself.
DV 2013 Results.
DV-2013 Results for the draw will not be sent to selected people through the postal mail. Instead all the applicants who had applied for the DV 2013 through the E-DV entry and got the confirmation number will be allowed to check their results in the online web site from May 2012 and it will be available till 30th June 2013.
Interviews will start on 1st of October 2012 and will close officially on 30th September 2013. After this period the selection will go useless.
Those who are living in the USA and selected for the program as winners can contact the USCIS office to change their status to LPR when their case numbers are current DV-2012 visa lottery program is in the process of interviewing the selected people according to their case numbers and are issuing the visas for those who meet the eligibility requirements required by the American Government. DV2012 accepted entries from all over the world in the year 2010 for a period of 30 days and then the web site was closed from accepting online entries. Participants were allowed to check their results in the year 2011 and the eligible selected people were asked to proceed with the selection. The program will close on 30th September 2012 and no one will be allowed to benefit from the winning after this date.
The next American visa lottery program is named as DV-2014 and it will be available this year online.
