Are there any changes in the lsit of eligible country list

There are not many changes in the eligible country list for the diversity visa lottery operated by the U.S Government. Russia and Kosovo were included in the eligible country list in the last years' DV 2010 visa lottery. So the Russian born people and Kosovo born people who meet the education and or work requirement can participate in the DV-2010 lottery.

So far there is no announcement about the changes for the country list for the DV 2011 American visa lottery. According to the DV lottery information following country born people are not eligible to participate in the DV Lottery.

• UNITED KINGDOM (except Northern Ireland) and its dependent territories
• VIETNAM

Persons born in Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, and Taiwan are eligible.
