DV 2011 selection will start after the 60 days E-DV entry submitting period. The computers in the KCC will select the names of the applicants for further processing in the random draw from the duly submitted entries. As all the selected applicants may not have the required qualifications nearly double the numbers of applicants will be selected for to
issue the 50,000 immigrant visas. The selected people will be given case numbers according to their region within the 6 regions from the number 000001 as to the selection order.

The selected people will be notified from May to July 2010 to their given postal address with further instructions and related visa fees. From July 2010 all the applicants can check their status to see whether they are selected or not for the program.
